Konstfönster Joar is a window gallery hosting contemporary art projects. The gallery is located in Enköping’s Joar Blå culture centre alongside the library and a short walk from Piet Oudolf’s Dream Park garden.  A programme including opening events, 15 minute lunchtime presentations, workshops and talks was run inconjunction with the exhibitions.

The project was initiated by Stuart Mayes (British born artist now living and working Enköping) who was the first to exhibit and was the guest curator for 2017. The selection represents the artist as initiator, as collaborator, as educator, as researcher, as activist, and as agent:

Julia Manheim & Ken Taylor, Everyday Fragments, February - May

Karin Gustavsson, Enköping, Enköping, a celebration of the park’s town, May - July
